Monday, February 29 it's beginning at the UN Palace in Geneva the 31 session of the Umans Rights Council.
For the Geneva office will be four weeks of intense work ... as early as the first day of the Council.
Monday fact Dr. Rossi has been invited to participate as one of the speakers of a side event organized by OHCHR to celebrate the 30th anniversary the Declaration on the Right to Development.
In the event, titled: "In Search of Dignity and Sustainable Development for All", Dr. Rossi will speak about the theme of the promotion of the right to development as instrument of social justice bringing the APG23's experience on the field and his 20 years as doctor missionary in Zambia.
Since the opening of the Geneva office in 2009, the right to development was one of the priorities; coordinating an entire work group at the Forum of Catholic-inspired NGOs, it has actively contributed to the work of the Inter-governmental Group for the implementation of the Right to Development always trying to bring the voice of the poor with whom we share life and struggling to eliminate the causes that prevent their development.
To know more you can see the session dedicated to the subject on our site ... where also find all the contributions and documents drawn up in recent years.
